Matt Freeland
Yes. Simply put, I do believe he is. Let’s not forget how incredibly dominant he was before the last couple of years. Not that he still can’t outplay the majority of tennis players, but Rafeal Nadal is basically the only player to beat him without luck or a rare off-day from Federer. 15 titles. Enough said.

I don’t claim to be a tennis historian or anything, but talent and results don’t lie (well, unless you’re on steroids). So I can confidently say that Roger Federer is the best of all-time. Maybe Rafael Nadal will surpass him one day, but for now the throne belongs to Federer.

How can Federer be the best player of all time if he isn’t even the greatest player of his generation? Dating back to 2006, Rafeal Nadal has beaten Federer nine out of 15 matches. And even more telling, Nadal has won five of the last six matches. Is Federer great? Yes, undoubtedly. Is he the greatest? That is arguable.
