Arthur Gibbs, 40 of Carbondale, works for E.T. Simonds Construction Company milling down the existing pavement on Washington St. Monday. The company was contracted by the city through the state to resurface the road, with the project being funded by stimulus package money. They will be doing work on portions of N. Oakland St., Washington St. and Wall St. According to Kenny Brumleve the crews should be finished within two weeks. Isaac Smith~ DAILY EGYPTIAN
