What is your favorite wild animal?

My favorite wild animal? The Centaur (half man, half horse), currently being featured in an Old Spice commercial. “Want two things in one thing?” Oh yes….

Raccoons are the cutest animals in the history of animals. Don’t get me wrong, I have an obsession with elephants and otters, but raccoons are a combination between monkeys, dogs and cats. They purr when you pet them and bark, chirp and cry when they want attention. They’re handsier than a teenage boy. They’ll grab and undo belts, steal earrings from your ears and hold your hand while you feed them. They’re curious and smart. I honestly think Bambi did not give them enough air time. Remember though, it is illegal to keep raccoons as pets.

Penguins are by far the coolest wild animal. They’re cute and classy all at the same time, can survive in frigid cold and sled around on their bellies. They love seafood, just like me. And they are great escape artists and ninjas (You know you’ve seen Madagascar). They have inspired many great bathroom decorations and beautiful diamond penguin pendants. I wear mine almost every day.

I’m pretty much a sucker for any kind of animal, especially those in baby form. I’m partial toward animals around me: squirrels, foxes, deer, mice, toads, snakes, and hawks. There is something incredibly wonderful about wild horses. They seem like some of the happiest animals on the planet.
