What is the best party town?

Madeleine Leroux
Well, I can’t say that I’ve had too much experience in party towns, but I have to stick with the nightlife of Chicago, the town I know best. Nothing beats a night out in downtown Chicago, as long as you have the cash to do it. Bars, bands and boisterous people usually lead to a great time for all.

It’s got to be Lake Havasu City, Ariz., where the party doesn’t stop when it hits 125 degrees. Right on the border of Arizona and California, the site is an affordable destination for anyone looking for some west coast relaxation. The dry heat doesn’t interfere with the fun because you can chill lakeside. Find someone with a boat or rent a jet ski and you can head to the sandbar for some football, Frisbee or other extra curricular activities. The nightlife consists of several channel-side bars that surround the rebuilt original London Bridge, which likely won’t fall down again no matter how hard the party rocks.

Memphis is a great party town because of the great food and pretty ladies. The parties are so awesome, your car gets bricked and it’s still worth the trip.

I’ll go with Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Any time you can get onto a lake in a boat with some beer and some friends under the sun it’s bound to be a good time. And Party Cove is a cool place to see some weird things, such as naked men and women doing things naked men and women often do. And once the sun goes down, you can head to the Strip and enjoy some mini-golf, go-karts or relax on the dock with some amigos and beer.
