Chancellor put on leave3/17/2008 by Joe Crawford in Campus Chancellor Fernando Treviño has been put on paid administrative leave after serious concerns were expressed about his job performance, according to a statement Monday from the university president. "The decision, made in consultation with the Board of Trustees, is in effect pending a review of the serious concerns brought to my attention by campus and community officials relating to the performance of Dr. Treviño's assigned duties," SIU President Glenn Poshard said in the statement.
