Dear Saluki Nation:

Thank you so much for your hospitality on Saturday night when I had the pleasure of attending the Salukis' last home game of the season. The game was great, the fans and the atmosphere were amazing as always and the Dawg Pound was once again on their game. I also want to congratulate the seniors on their remarkable careers in what I know was a very emotionally-charged final home game. I wish them all the best of luck.

It was a hard fought battle on the free-throw line between myself and former SIUC student Tim Beurskens of Charleston. In the end, it was my pleasure to give him $500 toward a Bright Start College Savings Scholarship. His two young daughters Emma and Alli will be the future beneficiaries of their dad's basketball skills.

Thanks again for your hospitality and I can't wait to make it down for another game next season.

Now let's kick some butt in the conference tourney.
