A new group of SIUC students is fighting to promote diversity beyond what is seen on the surface. The Intercultural Dialogue Student Association is based on the principle of equal representation for students of all races, backgrounds and religions. The group hosted Ashura Day Thursday afternoon in an effort to show people that the simplest thing can be consumed and understood by all people of all cultures.…
