Salukis lose to Northern Iowa
Falker scores game high 21 points and eight rebounds

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Senior forward Randal Falker scored a game-high 21 points and eight rebounds but it wasn't enough for the SIU men's basketball team Saturday night as they lost to Northern Iowa 68-63.
The Salukis shot 36 percent overall from the field and 25 percent from the 3-point line.
Falker exploded in the second half after only scoring a mere four points in the first 20 minutes but eventually fouled out with 1:14 left in the game.
Sophomore guard Josh Bone added 13 points while senior guard Matt Shaw chipped in 12 points and five rebounds on the night.
Northern Iowa was led by sophomore forward Adam Koch and junior guard Travis Brown who scored 14 points a piece.
Sophomore center Jordan Egsleder came off the bench to score 11 points as all 10 Northern Iowa players contributed at least one point.
The loss marks the fifth straight victory for the Panthers at home against the Salukis.
The Salukis will return home for a second matchup against Indiana State. Tipoff is at 7:05 p.m.
