The SIU men's and women's tennis teams had a busy weekend playing five games combined in four days.
The women won both matches against Evansville on the road for their first conference victory and Northern Illinois at home. The men's team went 2-1, losing their first match at Indiana State and winning two matches at home against Western Illinois and Illinois-Chicago.
The Saluki men capped off the weekend with a win Sunday against Western Illinois 6-1.…

The SIU women's golf team is Michigan bound on its road to an NCAA National Championship.
The Salukis waited patiently Monday to see where they would play their first regional tournament in team history. The Missouri Valley Conference champions were elated when it was revealed that the University of Michigan would host SIU and others in the first round.…

SIU junior thrower Brittany Riley isn't done breaking records yet.
In her first event Friday, Riley tossed the hammer 222 feet, 11 inches at the Missouri Relay. She set a new career high, an SIU record and a Missouri Valley Conference record with her throw.
