Kimberly Field, 17, who was reported missing from the Christ in Youth camp hosted on SIUC's campus this week, has returned on her own, according to the SIUC Police Department.
The Texas native is said to be uninjured. She returned to Neely Hall around 2:30 p.m, where she was originally seen last around 12:30 a.m. this morning, according to a university press release.
University faculty have been kept up-to-date on information pertaining to Field via e-mails from the Building Emergency Response Team. SIUC police officer Scott Miller encouraged everyone who received the e-mails to forward them along.
"Kimberly has returned on her own to Neely Hall and is safe," Miller wrote in the e-mail. "A lot of you went way above what would be expected and I am truly grateful and appreciative."
